DPS feedback
From the feedback i got, i was told that layout was a serious problem and that the text was hard to read. I must go back and make my text more readable and sort out my layout
Changes over time
Overtime my products have changed quite a bit as more and more improvements have been made.
Front Cover
With my front cover, my masthead, and dominant image stayed the same. Everything else had changed however. I used to have more sell lines dotted across the page. However, to make the front cover more neat, and so the dominant image had more space, i removed most of the sell lines and only used three in the style of xxl. I replaced the main sell line many times, one time having a banner over it to make it stand out. Eventually i moved the main sell line over the dark dominant image and made it white. This made it more noticeable.
Contents Page
My contents page mostly stayed the same. However, i challenged the normal codes and conventions by including a sub image relating to the dps. This is usually reserved for an editors note in a mature magazine like mine. I did this so i had my 4 original images. Also while i had contents for most articles, i didn't have one for my dps so i included that next to my dominant image.
DPS
I had to completely redesign my dps. Originally i had two images on both pages. The background was dark to white, which made text hard to read. Overall it was a failure. In my redesign, I had one dominant image which dominated the left side of my dps. I had a pull quote included with a strapline underneath. I even added website details and photography credits

Deconstructions Reflection
Through my deconstructions and the feedback i received off it, i have discovered insight on making the magazine and what to do with it. I have learned more on photoshop and i have decided to practice more on it. From feedback received, i have learned that i must use more color. Also my magazine apparently does not have good structure. I must look at other magazines and learn their structure to recieve better responses.
